I’m still kind of shocked and reeling from the outcome of this morning’s Brazil vs. Netherlands World Cup game. Can’t believe the Dutch took out Brazil. But dang cool too. I had been wanting to see the Oranje play and didn’t know what to expect, merely hearing they were good. They surprised me though cause they were brutal…lumberjacks…very fast, and their unrelenting pressure clearly affected Brazil. Perhaps Brazil just hasn’t seen pressure and physicality like that thus far in the cup, but they seemed visibly affected and the game seemed to split fairly even on possession…

It must be noted that the Dutch were lucky as hell on their first goal in that it was scored (off the head) of a Brazilian defender. Nonetheless, the second Oranje goal was superb, a double header off a corner with the second being a beautiful finisher past the goalie.
