It’s taken me a long time to decide how to create some sort of division between my work/porfolio Website which I finally redesigned last year and a personal site to share with friends and family. Jill fired up Dylan’s blog in November via Blogger and having such an easy and dynamic publishing system is pretty cool.
Mahalie suggested again Sunday that I check out WordPress. I’m still not sure exactly why because I don’t know the differences between blogging platforms, but it’s what she uses, and I wanted an engine that could be installed directly onto my Website. I’m still riding with LunarPages hosting and WordPress was conveniently available through my hosting control panel.
So away we go! I hope this will accomodate my various interests from design to skiing and climbing to music, books, the arts, to bicycling, to my friends and family. All of it! We shall see. I have a lot to learn.
